Paper Craft: How to Make a Double Happiness Symbol

There are numerous joyous occasions in life, such as weddings, housewarmings, births of a child, business openings, and academic achievements. Below, we will guide you on how to create a double happiness character using cardstock, which is simple and easy to learn. This straightforward paper-cutting activity can also serve as a children’s craft, enabling young children to learn how to cut out the happiness character as well.
Materials needed: a square piece of paper, scissors, a pen, and a ruler. (With practice, you won’t need the pen and ruler; you can cut directly.) Fold a square piece of paper in half twice, then use a pen and ruler to draw the lines as shown in the diagram below. When you stand it up, it should look like this:

Cut along the drawn lines, and once unfolded, you will have a large red double happiness character. I also cut one in purple, but the heart shape was cut a bit small. Another one without the heart shape is a regular mouth shape, and it looks like this when cut and unfolded.

This happiness character is very easy to cut; simply follow the drawn lines. Pick up your scissors and give it a try. Create multiple happiness characters to bring good fortune to your home. It can also be a parent-child activity, allowing you to experience the joy of crafting with your child, and it can serve as a kindergarten craft project. May 2024 be filled with continuous celebrations for us all.
